Research Strategy Office

Division of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research)
Researcher with beaker

The role of the Research Strategy Office is to enhance the University’s research performance and profile by working with researchers to identify opportunities for research funding, research prizes and awards, to improve research grant application quality and to act as a source of expertise on ‘grantsmanship’, particularly through support for UNSW researchers at various stages of their careers.

A particular focus of the Research Strategy Office is to assist UNSW researchers to initiate, facilitate and mount significant new national and international research funding bids, including bids for major research centres and program grants as well as strategically identifying, mentoring and assisting potential Federation and Australia Fellows applicants.
